2 Corinthians 5:15,17 “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
If everybody is in Christ ……
Why is there so many people in church that do not develop their life in Christ ?
Why is there people in church that have been there for years but we can not see his Life in Christ ?
Why so many people spend years in church and do not grow spiritually ? They are always in the same spiritual level !
Hebrews 5:12-14 “In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”
Here Hebrews’ writer said that there are people in church / because of the time they have spent in church they should be teachers , mature , helping other , but they are still infants , they still need milk , They can not distinguish good and evil / sometimes they are doing good / sometimes doing evil !
Do you know someone like that ?
The Bible says : if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Where is the new creation? Why are many Christians life still, their old life style ?
Today you’re going to receive a spiritual key for your Christian life !
Because you need to understand where is your problem , why do you still struggle with sin if you’re a new creation in Jesus !
I haven’t enough time to speak everything about it , but I’m gonna give you the main topics
Let’s go to the beginning of creation :
Genesis 1:26 (read just beginning verse) “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness ……
Why does God said : US? (Using plural and not singular)
In OUR image , in OUR likeness ?
Because God is 3 in 1 !
Each one of them has a different function!
God the father , God son (Jesus the redeemer) and God Holy Spirit (the comforter)
God is 3 in 1 People!
We were created by God in HIS Image and His likeness
If God is 3 in 1 , and we were created like him – then we are 3 in 1
1 Thessalonians 5:23 “May God himself, the God of (Shalom -Hb) peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
I have 1 spirit , I have a soul and I dwell (live) in a body (repeat)
The total man consist Spirit , Soul and Body!
You need to know where is your problem?
Why so many people don’t grow spiritually?
Why so many Christians doesn’t have an intimate relationship with God ?
Why so many Christians can not hear from God ?
Why are there so many Christians struggling with sin ?
Where is your problem ?
If you have some pain , you need to know the cause of the pain !
The doctor needs to check and find out where the problem is ! In order to give you the right medicine ?
Many Christians doesn’t know their true problem !
Is it in your Body ? Is it in your soul? Or is it in your Spirit?
BODY
I’m gonna starting saying that your body is not your problem !
Many people think their problem is their body ! No it is not !
Your body just obeys your soul , your body obeys your will , it obeys your desires , your body is just the house where your spirit and soul lives!
SPIRIT
Ephesians 2:1,5
2:1 “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
2:5 He made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”
The Bible says before we were born again : you and I were dead because of our transgressions and sins
How is it you were dead but still sinned against God ?
Your Body was not dead , your soul was not dead but your spirt was dead !
One day you came to church , you listened to the word of God , you repented from your sins , you accepted Jesus Christ as a Saviour and you were born again !
Who was born again ?
The new birth addresses the human spirit !
Your spirit was dead and The Spirit of God recreates the human spirit and begins to inhabit it
John 3:3 “Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. ””
This is what we call salvation – when your human spirit is born again !
This is an instantaneous, it is a new birth of the human spirit
Your human spirit is the part of your being where you relate with God , where you experience communion and intimacy!
When God speaks to you He doesn’t speak into your mind but in your spirit that became alive when you were born again !
If you are not born again you can not listen to God ! Because God is Spirit and He speaks into your human spirit !
What happens with our Spirit and Body after death ? Do you know ?
Ecclesiastes 12:7 “and the dust (body) returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
SOUL
Now I’m gonna start talking about where your real problem is !
Let’s go to the first verse we read :

Why are there so many people who are born again still living in their old life styles ?
They are in church but with their old mind !
They are in church but their old habits still dominate them !
Some attitudes have not changed , wrongful ways of thinking still remains
Evil thoughts still frequent their mind
Corruption, bitterness, envy and hate still continues to exist
To born again is an instant regeneration of the spirit ! The old has gone and the new is here !
Your spirit is perfect in Christ ,
But remember that , when you are born again you still have an old mind and an old soul !
Conversion is the process of deliverance and regeneration of the soul !
What is your soul ?
Is Your mind , your will (desires) and your emotions !
To be born again is free of charge, it is by faith in the work of the cross BUT BECOMING A DISCIPLE WILL COST YOU EVERYTHING
ITS EASY TO BE BORN AGAIN , BUT THE PROCESS OF DELIVERANCE, SANCTIFICATION AND REGENERATION OF YOUR SOUL HAS A PRICE AND TAKES TIME !
CONVERSION TAKES PLACES IN YOUR SOUL , SALVATION TAKES PLACE IN YOUR SPIRIT
Salvation is free but to be a fruitful disciple of Jesus it is going to cost you everything!
Your soul is your problem , you born again in your spirit , but you have an old soul
The soul is individual : I Like , I Fell , I want , I think , I believe , , I chose …… That’s the soul
That’s the reason every soul sets their own destine !
Because the soul has the responsibility to make choice !
Ecclesiastes 12:7 “and the dust (body) returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
And about your soul ?
Luke 12:19-20 NKJV “And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’”
Your old soul doesn’t want God ! Your old soul wants just eat , drink and to have pleasure !
And God call you as a Fool person ! One day your body are going to the grave , your soul will be required and you will give account of your life !Please , don’t be fool , invest your life in the kingdom of God !
2 Corinthians 5:15 said that Jesus died for all , (do you agreed with that ? ) but not all people are saved !
In the same way , everyone that is born again has , in Christ , the right to free life !
However, there is a spiritual distance between “The right to free life “ and “implementing this right in their life.
Every benefit of Jesus’ sacrifice needs to be personally received and responded by the application of biblical principles!
Example: suppose that before accepting Jesus you had a debt (bill) with a financial institution.
Would the fact that you were born again cancel your debt ? No !
Yet , one could argue : But has not the old life died and everything been made new ?
Nothing is automatic in the Spiritual Kingdom !
Jesus died so everyone could be saved , healed , delivered , sanctified . Do you agreed ?
Will all be saved ? No ! Only those who respond to the Gospel’s call and repent
Will everyone be healed of their illnesses because of their salvation ?
No , only those who have, or will receive faith for this !
Is everyone totally delivered because they have accepted Jesus ? Also no !
Are all sanctified by the baptism of the Holy Spirit ? No , why ?
Because the Soul is a daily conquest
that involves humiliation, confession , repentance, restitution, forgiveness , brokenness, surrender, discipline , revelation, discernment, intercession, obedience , perseverance, sincerity , submission to authorities, Couselling with mature people , etc
Can you see why there are many people in church not transformed in their souls ?
No discipline in their lives , no humiliation, no repentance from their sins , don’t forgive others , no brokenness, no intercession, no time for God !
Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
The Bible says you need to renew your old mind in order to experience the will of God
Why are there many people that are not transformed ? Why many are struggling with addictions , struggling with bad habits , people are in church but they are not polite , not humble , they are always hurting people….
Because they don’t expose their life enough to God’s presence !
The Word of God (Bible) is the mirror that is gonna change you !
You need to read , to meditate and to put it in practice !
Why do new Christians grow more spiritually? Because they are spending their time with God everyday.
You have to invest in your life , in your time to seek God !
Many don’t go to prayer meetings , don’t go to cell Meetings , Service !
If you don’t renew your old mind you will be in church for years and will not be transformed into a man or woman of God !
You need to repent from your sins !
Laziness is sin ! We are wasting time to please our old mind , but not using our time to be renewed and transformed !
Repent before God , say you’re sorry and turn to God.
