The Power and Authority of your Words [The Power of The Seed]

Today you will receive a seed from God in the form of a message, and if you accept it, believe in it and walk on it, your spiritual, physical and emotional life will be radically transformed.

In this third message of this series: The Power of The Seed – I will speak about what the Scripture says concerning The Power and Authority of your Words. If you haven’t listened to the first or the second message, please listen to them.

This series of messages is based on the Parable of the Sower, which according to Jesus, is key for you to understand all the other parables. And the understanding and revelation of this parable will lead you to bear fruits, 30, 60 and 100 times over.

The sower sows the Word. The Seed is the word of God. If it enters the human heart, the Seed will produce the fruits.

God sends His word through the sower, and His word will always come in the form of a seed. But Jesus said that as soon as you receive the word, the devil comes immediately to steal the word from your heart.

Many receive the word, but do not let it bear fruit in their lives. When I was preparing this preaching, God said me that many receive His word, but once it begins to germinate, they themselves destroy their harvest with their words. Yes, The words that come out of your mouth can destroy your harvest.

This teaching is very important because it’s one of the keys to your victory and for you to experience the supernatural of God in your life.

Unfortunately many christians don’t understand the authority of their Words and the creative force that is released through the Words that you speak.

God’s Word is received first in your mind, then is conceived in your heart, and formed by the tongue, and when it is spoken out of your own mouth it becomes a spiritual force which finally releases the potential of God within you!

God created the entire World and the Universe through His Word.

“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light” Genesis 1:3-4 NKJV

God saw the darkness and said: Let there be light! He spoke and light went on. God first said it and then He saw it, God said it and He saw it!

We were created in the image and likeness of God. How could we possibly think that our Words don’t mean anything?

Many hear the word of God, receive the seed, but they destroy their harvest through the words that come out of their mouths.

People are destroying their homes, their marriages, their children, their church and their lives with their Words.

We receive the Seed of His Word in our hearts but our words do not correspond to what His Word says

His Word through our mouth has a creative power to bring order in the chaos, to bring peace in the midst of the storm.

What do you say when you are in the middle of the Storm?

“Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Peace! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?””

Mark 4:38-40

Most Christians in the middle of a storm, instead of saying “Peace, Be Still in the Name of Jesus” will say: We’re all going to die! God why? Don’t you care if we drown?

Most people have their “speakers” plugged up to their feelings, but we must have our “speakers” plugged up to our faith.

We need to speak from what we believe, not based on what we see, because what we see is not the final authority.

The problem is you’re saying based on what you have in front of you, but Jesus said: Say what you believe!

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Mark 11:22-23 NKJV

Have faith! Faith is in the heart, but to receive its fruits you have to speak it out! When you speak to the mountains, they move as you command. It’s not enough to believe it in your mind; you have to say it out!

You need to believe in the power of the Word of God in your mouth. Because the Bible says that your Words are powerful.

Many people are saying what they have, they are connecting their “speakers” to their sight instead of their faith.

Remember that everything in the physical world is created by the unseen realm.

Many are destroying their crops and their own life with their words! Negative and destructive words prevent God from moving.

People say: it’s just talk. It’s just the way people talk! But No! Jesus said:

“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.””

Matthew 12:36-37 NKJV

Do you think Jesus was lying about your words? Do you think James was lying about your Words?

“For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.”

James 3:2-6 NKJV

James said that we can turn situations around through our words. With the bit in a horse’s mouth you can change the direction the horse is going. That small piece of metal is putting pressure on the tongue and that small pressure causes that enormous animal to turn whatever way you want him to turn.

Look also at ships: they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires” James 3:4

Also he said our words are like the small rudder on the ship. The little rudder dictates directions to the big ship.

So will be your mouth, your words can direct your life to blessings or curses!

Your words will dictate the destiny of your life!

Your words can set fire and destroy you! Your Words affect your whole life.

You are always saying what you think and what you believe. Our Words are seeds that will produce something.

Example

My father had this illness, my uncle and my grandfather both died from this same illness. My disease is incurable and I have to live with it the rest of my life. My problem is impossible.
You eat the fruit produced by your mouth!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Proverbs 18:21 NKJV

Your words can produce Life or Death, Blessings or Curses and you will eat the fruit that comes out of your mouth!

Some Christians wish blessing to each other but they only say foolish things; they are digging their own grave with their words. You have to cut out the foolish speech!

You’re either speaking Words of life to yourself, your family, your finances, your church, every area of your life or you’re speaking words of death.

“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Matthew 12:34 NIV

You need to change what is inside of you. Once you change the inside, you start believing that the words of God are really true, that is when what you speak comes to pass.

The supernatural comes when the Word of God is planted in our heart , changes us inside and then Words of Faith starts to come out of our mouth as a sword to change the circumstances.

The Word of God is powerful, it’s the most powerful thing we have in our hearts but we have to speak them out!

The first part is confessing it so you can receive it in your heart. The second part is to speak the word in the physical realm. (Speak to the mountain) Then Word will change the physical realm.

In order to confess and create what is around you, you have to change your inside first.

The tongue is a creative force and Your negative Words can destroy your life. When God gives you a Word you need to put it in your heart and in your mouth.

You need to say it out and pray about what God said, not what you see around you!

Many people says: I’m praying but it’s not working!  But you are not praying, you are complaining!

Some people are praying the devil’s words, instead of what God says. Stop repeating what the news tells you, what the doctor tells you, what your symptoms are telling you instead confess and declare what the Word of God tells you.

I have found that people from church sometimes don’t believe their words have power when even non-believers and psychology already know about the power of our words.

Just speaking positive words will not change your life. This is not what I’m saying.

It’s not about you making positive statements, it’s you making God’s statements, what God has already promised and stated in His Word.

God designed us to speak His Word and His Will on earth. The first thing you have to ask yourself is: Is this God’s will?

Is it God’s will for me to be living in sickness, in need, in anxiety, in depression? I don’t think so! Let’s see what God says:

“When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.” Luke 4:40 NKJV

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Psalms 23:1 NIV

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  John 10:10 NIV

“Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” Psalms 103:3 NKJV

We need to quit agreeing with the devil and start agreeing with God.

You are receiving Seeds that are the Word of God, you must keep it in your heart and you need to say it out, to confess it.

Maybe you will tell me: pastor I keep saying that I’m healed but I don’t really believe it and doesn’t seem real to me. But if you keep saying it, the seed will produce its fruits.

Example:

I’m the Body of Christ and Satan has no power over me – 1Co 12:27

By His Wounds we are healed – Isaiah 53:14

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the Word – 1 John 4:4

I will fear no evil for You are with me. Your Word and Your Spirit, they comfort me – Psalm 23:4

I’m far from oppression and fear does not come near me. Joshua 1:9

No weapon formed against me shall prosper for my righteousness is of the Lord – Isaiah 54:17

Me and my household will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

This is the Word of God and the Lord doesn’t lie to us!

As James said: With your tongue you can turn the direction of your life just like the rudder turns a ship.

You keep saying the Word until it creates something inside of you. The Word is a creative power and the first place it creates is inside of you.

Some people tell me: I’ve said it hundreds times and nothing happens.

But it’s not the speaking in itself. Saying it out loud is a part of it. But the speaking it into your heart is the part that makes it alive and creates faith through your Words

Faith comes by hearing! Romans 10:17

Do you hear the preacher when he preaches? Yes! But you need to participate and hear yourself saying and speaking.

You’re confessing and saying it not for other people to hear, or to try to convince them that you are healed, that you’re protected. That’s not the purpose of it.

You need to put the Word of God inside of you and hear yourself speaking and saying it out so that at some point, Faith builds up in your heart.

You believe what God says, you confess it and it becomes real to you.

It only becomes real after you have planted all these seeds in your heart.

When you plant seeds in your garden, you don’t go to them on the next day and say: there is still nothing here, these are bad seed!

If you plant carrots or beetroot seeds you need to water it, it needs sunshine, it need a little bit of heat, and it needs time before it begins to sprout up.

That’s what happens with the Word of God. The Word of God is a seed that is planted in your heart.

Your Words are either seeds of life or seeds of death and destruction.

When you say what God said you are changed and your mind is renewed by the Word of God.

You confess, speak and declare what God said until you get the Word in your heart.

The tongue is the rudder that turns the whole ship. It might be very small but it has the strength to turn an entire ship.

You can turn your life around with the power of the Word.

I have some testimonies to share.

I have prayed for many people with one leg shorter than other and for the 16 people I prayed over, they were instantly healed.

I remember the first time I prayer over someone, I was scared. But I remembered Jesus’ Words telling me to simply say it to the mountain and you will have whatever you say!

Then I said: short leg grow longer in Jesus name and I saw it growing in front of my eyes.

Faith is progression. First I had to stop with the negative speaking. When you speak negative words, you just attract negativity.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. You attract what you are hoping for.

Fear is faith in reverse. Speaking words of fear will bring more fear and will destroy your harvest.

There is life and power in the Word of God.

How many of you have the spirit of Faith?

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,”

II Corinthians 4:13 NKJV

If we believe it, we have to speak it! I believed and therefore I spoke, we believed and that’s why we speak!

Start declaring God’s word over your life, over your health, your family, your children, your finances, and over our church.

God’s Words on our mouth has a creative power to bring peace, salvation, healing and to produce the impossible.

May the Lord bless and keep you.
