Supernatural Faith [Part 5]

Before I begin this message, I need to answer a very important question: Why are we talking about Supernatural Faith? Why do I keep insisting on this, week after week, service after service?

Because Supernatural Faith is not just for you to get whatever it may be that you’ve been praying for. This Faith is not only for you to be blessed, to be happy, and to solve your personal problems.

Supernatural Faith is to reveal God through your life in an impactful way!

You are not just someone who attends church on Sundays: You are a showcase of God to the entire world!

The world is not reading the Bible, but it is reading you and paying close attention!

If your life does not reveal the power of God, your faith is still natural, limited, and without eternal impact! And that is why we need Supernatural Faith.

BASE TEXT: Mark 11:12-14, 20-24 (NIV)

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to find out if it had any fruit. When He reached it, He found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then He said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And His disciples heard Him say it…

20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” 22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “23Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:12-14, 20-24 (NIV)

Jesus spoke to a fig tree! Why? What was the reason for Him to speak to “a tree”?

Because He wanted to demonstrate THE POWER OF THE WORDS aligned with FAITH.

Church, everything from God’s Word that you believe and confess, you WILL HAVE! Jesus is not a liar! He said it, He taught it – that’s absolute truth!

Today I want to touch on something that many ignore, but which is the key to the supernatural: the power of words, or confession. Faith is not silent. Faith must have a voice!

Jesus said: Have faith in God. Speak without doubt in your heart. I want to teach you something now: many have difficulty understanding this verse:

Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

Some think: “I’ll ask for a million euros, a Rolls-Royce – and done!” But we need to understand the principle correctly: this does not mean “Ask for anything and God is obliged to do it.” If it were like that, God would be a genie in a lamp, a wish-granting service. And that is not the true gospel!

Biblical faith must be based on the bible, aligned with God’s will, and released by the power of the words that come out of our mouth

Jesus said: Have Faith! Where does faith come from? It comes from hearing the Word of God! Everything you receive from the Word of God, by meditating and letting it penetrate your heart, and everything that is the fruit of Faith and you ask for in prayer, if believe that you will receive it then you will have it.

Your mouth reveals your faith – speak out loud now: “My faith has a voice!”

  1. THE PRINCIPLE: FAITH SPEAKS

It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same Spirit of Faith, we also BELIEVE and therefore SPEAK. 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NIV)

We do not speak to believe – we speak because we believe it in our hearts. Faith begins in the heart and explodes through the mouth. This activates the supernatural.

Let’s read Romans 10:9-10

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)

The heart believes for righteousness, the mouth releases salvation and miracles.

Without confession, Faith remains trapped.

  1. WHERE DOES YOUR FAITH COME FROM?

Jesus said: Have faith in God. My question is direct: Where has your Faith been coming from?

If you do not have time to read the Scriptures, not even one page a day!  Or when you do read it, it is just the verse of the day on your mobile app! Where has your faith come from?

If Faith comes through meditation, reading, studying, and hearing the Word, what kind of Faith could you have? Where could your FAITH being coming from?

Where does the faith of believers come from nowadays? From TikTok and Instagram videos, or from the quick testimony you heard from a stranger, maybe a christian song on TikTok, or snippets of preaching from an internet pastor – and you believe everything you hear because you do not read or meditate on the Scriptures.

Do we truly love our Lord if we cannot manage to read His Word?

If I ask you about your job, about what you like to look at online, about cooking, health, your studies, you could talk about it for hours without getting tired.

But the Bible, the Word that produces supernatural faith, it finds no time in your schedule!

Did you know that all the decisions you make in life, all the choices you make, every decision for your future, the education of your children, and the functioning of your marriage all come from your Faith!

And most Christians do not value the Scriptures that will give you this supernatural faith!

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

Romans 10:17

Faith does not fall from the sky – it is fed by the Word. If you ignore the Bible, your faith remains natural and weak. And many have natural faith, not Supernatural Faith.

Give it time daily: read, meditate, declare it. Your life depends on it!

  1. TESTIMONY – THE POWER OF DECLARATION

Dear ones, I share humbly to glorify God because it is He who heals: I have already prayed for more than 15 people with one leg shorter than the other. I did not shout at it, I did not force it. I simply declared: “Leg, grow in the name of Jesus.” And instantly the leg grew before everyone’s eyes!

Jesus spoke to a tree and said for you to speak to the mountain ! You have the same authority – use it today!

Last week I spoke about the miracle of my mother with the bone spur – a bone that was growing on her hand, causing unbearable pain day and night. On Saturday night, I anointed her with oil, and she declared by faith: “Little bone, get out of there now in the name of Jesus!” Sunday morning, the bone had completely disappeared, and all the pain was gone forever!

It was confession of the Word activating the supernatural, as in James 5:14-15

I have another testimony from years ago of a “miracle through confession” – perhaps you have heard it, but hear it again to strengthen your faith.

I had a motorcycle. I left home to go to church and had arranged with a friend who worked with me: I would pass by his house to pick him up to church and we would go together. I left without money in my pocket (and no credit card). On the way, the petrol ran out. I opened the tank: it was completely dry, not a drop of fuel. The guy lived far away – about 10 km from my house – and from his house to the church another 10 km. No petrol, no money…

I began to pray and said: I need to take Carlos to church and while praying I remembered Mark 11:24:

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 11:24 (NIV)

I said: “Jesus the Lord said “Whatever”  (Everything) , and this ‘everything’ includes travelling without fuel!” I declared: “I will start this motorcycle, it will start on the first kick, I will go to Carlos’s house , pick him up and go to church.” I prayed, confessed out loud, started it by kick (it was not electric). It started on the first kick!

I went to Carlos’s house, picked him up, we went to church… And the greatest miracle was: Carlos accepted Jesus that night and is still serving God today!

  1. PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF CONFESSION

Last week you received the challenge: read and declare. Did you declare it or just read it? Now let us look at it in practice, going through each area for you to declare with faith.

HEALING:

“He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)

Instead of complaining and talking about the pain or illness, declare Jesus’s provision.

Say: “By His wounds, I am healed!”

PROVISION:

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (NIV)

We confess what we do not have – we talk about tight finances and lack of money. But declare God’s faithfulness.

Say: “My God will supply ALL my needs according to His riches!”

IDENTITY:

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”. Romans 8:37 (NIV)

Stop saying “I am a failure, I can’t do it…” You are more than a conqueror.

Say: “I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me!”

CURSES:

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” Galatians 3:13 (NIV)

Many still carry generational curses – misery, illness, traumas. Jesus broke them for us.

Say: “Jesus became a curse for me – I am free and blessed!”

FEAR:

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

Fear paralyses decisions, it hurts families, hinders our future. God does not wish for that.

Say: “God gave me power, love and self-discipline – fear, get out!”

GUILT FROM THE PAST:

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 (NIV)

Many have been in church for years, but carry heavy guilt from old traumas, they carry guilt thinking they failed God or people around them – even your sins, you cannot carry this guilt and weight.

Say: “There is no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus! I am forgiven, free from guilt and ready to serve with what I have now!”

Do not declare the problem – declare God’s promise every day with authority!

  1. IMPORTANT WARNING:

WHAT IF YOU DECLARE AND NOTHING HAPPENS IMMEDIATELY?

What if you pray, you declare the Word and nothing happens straight away?

Do not give up! Keep declaring! Pray for the next person and do not stop!

I have prayed for people who were not healed right away – I prayed and apparently nothing happened! But I did not give up: I kept praying for others, and the supernatural happened.

The Bible teaches us this clearly:

Jesus could not do any miracles there, except lay His hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith.” Mark 6:5-6 (NIV)

Jesus, the Son of God, could not do many miracles in His hometown because of their unbelief! If this happened to the Master, the same will happen to you! And why could Jesus not operate miracles among His acquaintances? Because they did not honour the prophet who was going to pray for them.

“A prophet is not without honour even in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home,” Jesus said. Mark 6:4 (NIV)

They did not honour the Prophet – they said: “This is just the carpenter’s son! We knew him growing up!” Because they showed no honour, they received no miracles!

Today, nothing has changed: We must believe that God heals, but also believe in the people who pray for us! Do not say: “That one is just my leader, just my brother, or just the pastor of my church – he cannot…” Honour the prophet sent by God, believe, and see the supernatural happen!

  1. CONCLUSION

Dear ones, your life follows the direction of your Faith and your words. Is your mouth building up or tearing down?

A silent faith is a limited faith. Your mouth reveals your Faith. You do not receive only by what you believe, but by what you declare.

Stop complaining about the problem. Start declaring the promise.

Jesus said: “Have faith in God.” Speak without doubt in your heart and persevere, do not give up and you will see the supernatural!

Who here accepts the fact? : “I have spoken more about the problem than the promises of the Word of God”? Raise your hand.

Now declare out loud with me:

“I align my words with the Word of God!”

“My faith has a voice!”

“I declare life!”

“I declare what God promised me!”

“I will experience the miracles of a supernatural faith!”

Pray with me: Father, heal me, set me free, renew my mind, fill my words with authority!
